Naruto 592 Prediction: Swan Song
The panel shows Madara looking at the Kages.
Madara as he takes a menacing pose, and starts making handsings: Tell the one who summoned it, that he shouldn't carelessly use forbidden jutsu! Release!
Madara streams from his body dense waves of pure energy, as his connection with Kabuto was severed.*
Madara: I waited for this moment. I was aware, that a man who summons so many warriors on the battlefield, will fall, sooner or later. And all that i needed was moment in order to escape.
Tsunade immediatly jumps next to the Kages and she slowly starts giving them chakra.
Madara smiles.
Madara: Tsunade Senju. You have the " Will of the fire" that Hashirama mentioned so many times before. But you lack something. His power. And that's your flaw.
Instantly a branch rises from the ground and hits Tsunade. The hit sent the Hokage several meters away. She barely gets up.
Instantly several other branches are hitting all the Kages. They are all barely standing on their feets.
The scene it's focused on Onooki's eyes. First he looks at Tsunade. He sees a defeated woman, but one that it's not willing to surrender. He looks at the Mizukage and he spots the fear in her eyes. She tries to keep up, but Madara is too much and she realised this. He looks at the Raikage and sees something simmilar. He knows that Madara is too much, but he is ready to give his life if he can take out the Uchiha. And finally, Onooki's eyes are focused on the Kazekage, Gaara...he looks at something entirely different. Gaara's posture, and most importantly his eyes, are saying: " You're not going to win bastard!" . He is the only one that remained determined, and the only one that still belives in succes.*
Onooki thinking: This kid...he is more determined than we are, the old, experienced ones...i cannot allow Madara to kill the next generation...
Onooki sighs and goes near the Kages.
Onooki: Mizukage...Hokage...Raikage...Kazekage.. .i want all of you to listen carefully to me. Mei, you're going to create mist around us. That way, we will make things harder for the Sharingan. Raikage, you will be the first decoy. Tsunade, you will be the second decoy. I will be the real deal, but i will pose as a decoy too. Gaara will attack last. Madara will mistake Gaara for being our ace. He will concentrate on that and not on me.
Tsunade: But why shouldn't i be the last?!?*
Raikage: Or me!
Onooki: Because, fools...you cannot protect yourselves against Madara. The Kazekage has his sand, that will aid him. Got it now? You will wait for my mark, to attack Madara, Kazekage. You will also cover yourself in your Absolute defence. The other Kages will go several meters away to avoid being caught by the blast.
All of them: Got it!
The Mizukage starts making handsings: Hidden mist jutsu!
Instantly, a dense mist covers the entire area.
Madara thinking: They are preparing an assault.*
Just when he was thinking about that, the Raikage appears in front of *Madara, and tries to deliver a decisive punch. A moment later, Tsunade also appears behind Madara, prepared to strike him with a powerful kick. Madara notices that Tsunade is closer, he grabs her leg, uses as a ledge and jumps above her. While being in the air he quickly makes a couple of handsigns.
Madara: Fire release! Torch of the demons!
A powerful fire blast goes straight towards the two Kages, leaving them no time to react. Suddenly a giant earth appears in front of them, protecting Tsunade and E from the fire. Almost immediatly, Onooki emerges from the ground and makes a couple of handsigns, as he dashes towards Madara.
Madara thinking: The Hokage and the Raikage attacked already. The Mizukage was likely tasked only to cast the mist. It means that you are going with the decoys.*
Onooki: Earth release! Spear of doom!
As he is dashing towards Madara, Onooki creates a thin earth spear, that he intends to impale Madara with. The Uchiha, simply dodges the spear, catches Onooki by his throat and slams him into the ground.
Madara: You have failed old man.*
Onooki: Failed? I haven't failed anything, Madara. I am a crippled old man, and as you saw, i managed to hold my own against someone like you.
Madara: Hmpf. And you're proud of that? Even if you were in your prime, you *couldn't have beat me.
Onooki smiles: I wouldn't be so sure.
Madara: The ninja world has fallen, Onooki. And you will also die. You should have remained home. - now Madara has come very close to Onooki.
Onooki smiles and shouts: Now Gaara!
Instantly several pillars of sand emerge from the ground with the intention of stabbing Madara. But unfortunately, the Uchiha saw right through the attack, and dodges all of them in a second. The next moment, Gaara apears right next to him, trying to get a clear shot. Madara turns around, catches Gaara's punch, and kicks the Kazekage away. As he is slowly walking towards Gaara in order to kill him, an earth platform appears below Gaara and takes him away. Onooki's voice is heard.
Onooki with a menacing voice: You should never turn your back to the enemy!!!!
Madara turns around furious, just to see Onooki how he creates a conic Dust Release.
Onooki shouts: Dust release!!! Particle cataclism!!!
The scene gets blurry as Onooki releases the jutsu. One panel is focused on Onooki's determined eyes, one It's focused on Madara's shocked face.
Onooki thinking: I was a stubborn old man..for too long...i lost sight of myself, i thought that the world was drawn as i saw it. I never realised that times are changing, and that i'm a fossil of the war times. I never realised that my philosophy was bad for the Iwa. That after the wars ceased, we should have tried a peaceful approach...we, the five Kages are a bunch of fools...we think that we lead a village, but, instead, the village leads us. But now i realised...that times are changing. That the new generation will surpass this one...that these kids are more powerful and wiser than us...hmpf...old fool...
Madara stops Onooki's thinking by shouting: You think you can kill me?!? Me?!?
Onooki with an angered voice: You are not the superior being that you claim to be! Otherwise you wouldn't be dead!!!*
The scene shows one last frame of Madara before being destroyed by the jutsu.
Madara smiling: Hmpf...you've truly have grown, brat...i guess that this is the end for me...as far as i am concerned...this is over...congratulations, Onoki. You managed to kill the most powerful ninja that ever existed...farewell...world...
In that moment the dust release jutsu, explodes. A giant blast is seen, as smoke and dust are rising from the ground. The four Kages are pushed back by the blast.
As the dust clears up the panel shows only Onooki lying on the ground, barely concious.
Immediatly Gaara and the Kages land near him. Gaara rushes at the old man and grabs him.
Gaara: Tsuchikage! How do you feel?!?
Onooki: Like dying.
Tsunade kneels near them and starts healing the Tsuchikage, but almost immediatly she takes her hands away and starts crying.
Raikage: What happend?!?
Tsunade crying: I'm sorry Onoki...i can't...
Onoki smiles: I know. I'm beyond healing at this point.
Gaara shocked: What do you mean?!?
Onoki: That jutsu, that i used...it takes out even an Edo Golem. I killed Madara by obliterating every cell in his body. Not even the ressurection abilites of the Edo Tensei can bring back someone from such attack. He is forever gone. But there a risk for the user. Rather a price to pay than a risk. His own life. That's how my master died. And this is how i will die.
Mei and Tsunade are crying. The Raikage has a sad expression and Gaara a mixture between shock, sadness, and anger.
Onoki: Don't worry about me. It was my choice. I felt like i had to do something. Just...Make sure that nobody summons me with that damn jutsu.*
Gaara: We could have sealed him!!
Onooki: No we couldn't. He was way to powerful for us to handle him. It was a necessary sacrifice.
Raikage: Tsuchikage...have you...
Onoki: No...i didn't...nobody is fit in my village for this job...so...i'm going to do something that was never seen before...
Gaara looks at him with a confused face.
Onoki: Kazekage Gaara...promise me that you will love and respect the Iwagakure and it's citizens. Promise me that you will protect my village with the same passion that you protected the Sunagakure. Promise me that you will be a better Tsuchikage than i was...
Gaara shocked: What do you mean?!?
Onoki smiles, and with his last breathe: Promise me Gaara...because...starting now...you're both Kazekage and Tsuchikage!
The panel is black for a moment. And the next scene shows only Gaara's mouth and cheeks. A tear rolls down on his cheek. Only his voice is heard without revealing his eyes.
Gaara: I promise...
